Nickelodeon has cancelled “Sam & Cat”

Sam-And-Cat-Canceled

It’s official; Nickelodeon’s hit TV show, “Sam & Cat,” has been cancelled. The series first hit the air last year and stars Jennette McCurdy (iCarly) and Ariana Grande (Victorious).

A while ago, Jennette got into an argument with Nickelodeon, and she and Ariana had a falling out as well. Both of those things resulted in the show going on a hiatus– and it never returned for further production.

According to reports, the girls had 8 additional episodes to shoot as part of their contracts, but it looks like the network decided to end the show instead.

The second-to-last episode of the show is airing tonight at 8pm on Nickelodeon. Here’s what was posted with the promo, which you can check out below:

“Brace yourself – there’s only TWO more episodes of Sam & Cat left! Don’t miss the second to last episode, Saturday July 12th at 8pm!”

The series ran for one season and had 35 episodes.
