November / December Favorites 2014

I can’t believe how fast this year has gone! It seems like just yesterday I was writing my November favorites for 2013! Before we know it, it’ll be Christmas! Oh my goodness, I’m so excited!

So today, I’m going to be sharing the makeup, nail polish, music, and other things that I’ve been loving throughout the holiday season! And because this post is about the holiday season, I’ve added another section to the list: “TV Shows” has now been temporarily renamed “TV Shows/Specials,” because there are a lot of holiday specials that usually air during this time of year.

Since it’s only the middle of November, I’m sure I’ll come across more things I love, and if I do, I’ll add them to this list. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Makeup:

Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Effects Lipstick (in Teaberry Shimmer)

Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss (in the shade Luscious)

eos Lip Balm in Sweet Mint

Maybelline BabyLips in Peppermint (a classic holiday favorite of mine, but I think I like the eos one more this year!)

MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red

Nail Polish:

Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez in the shade Scarlett

Essie nail polish in the shade Shearling Darling

Hair:

Jerome Alexander 1 1/2″ ceramic curling iron

OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo

OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil conditioner

TV Shows/Specials:

The Voice

Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale (I know it’s from last year, but this Christmas special is ADORABLE! And it stars one of the best singer-songwriters ever/the first winner of American Idol! What’s not to love?)

CMA Country Christmas (I’m not a huge fan of country music, but it’s a Christmas special. Featuring Lucy Hale, Idina Menzel, Hunter Hayes, and Carrie Underwood! Plus, it’s kind of a tradition to watch this every year)

Movies:

Elf (OF COURSE!!!!! BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER!!!!!!)

The Santa Clause trilogy

Books:

Staying Strong: 365 Days A Year (Demi Lovato)

Music:

Holiday Wishes – Idina Menzel (The Tony Award-winning Broadway star, best known as the voice of Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, has released a Christmas album. YES!)

Nick Jonas’ self-titled album (featuring the hit song, “Jealous“)

“Try” – Reagan James

Acoustic Hearts of Winter – Aly & AJ (Yes, I still like Aly & AJ. Don’t judge me. This album is filled with acoustic covers of Christmas songs (and a few originals) and is just awesome!)

“O Come All Ye Faithful” – Britt Nicole (Wow. Her voice is amazing if I haven’t mentioned that already. She should star in a Broadway musical or something!)

“God Rest Ye Three Kings (A Christmas Medley)” – LoveCollide

Apps:

Instagram

Spotify

Pinterest

Food:

Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks

White Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks

Clothing:

Oversized sweaters

The color RED (Just because Taylor Swift’s RED Tour is over, doesn’t mean I have to stop wearing this color! It’s always been one of my favorites, especially around the holidays!)

Infinity scarves

T-Max Insulated winter gear (because where I live, it can get really cold in the winter sometimes. So far, the temperature hasn’t really gone below -20, but that could change. And I love wearing warm clothes this time of year anyways!)

Knee-high boots (I just bought my first pair of knee-high boots recently (T-Max insulated of course 😉 ), and they are SO CUTE and so comfy!)

Misc.:

Twisted Peppermint scent from Bath & Body Works (This scent is, like, TOTALLY AWESOME! As you know, I love anything that smells like candy canes this time of year, so… Twisted Peppermint is definitely one of my faves!)

That wraps up my favorites for this month, and as always, I’d love to know what your favorites are! Let me know in the comments below, or on Facebook or Twitter, what you’ve been loving this month!
